After moving all of the tack racks to the lower level of the tack room, we began a much-needed face-lift in the lounge and kitchen area. It began when Chelsea decided she couldn't "look at this floor any longer," and began to pull it up! That prompted Jeff and Justin to open up the kitchen area by removing the old counter and stove. Meanwhile, the fridge was also moved, to allow a greater walkway into the restroom, and the window that opens into the barn aisle was opened up and repaired. Within a week, the men had built and installed a beautiful new counter, spanning the full wall. We now have plenty of space to visit with each other, which was proven at our Holiday Party!
But we aren't done yet. New cabinets and new flooring will be installed soon after the holidays. We will be sure to post new photos when the space is finished!
